Plus we lived on an Air force base so everyone spoke english. Still the traveling was amazing, I remember that I won an easter egg hunt in Spain and got a huge tonka truck that we had to strap to the roof of or little green renault. I was already a huge fan of your work, and now even more so. I especially enjoyed hearing about your early experiences as an American growing up in Germany, as my children have grown up here in Germany as well, and living here has been greatly influential to me with art personally.
