Here is a quick drawing study of Patrick, great model, I'm starting a 96 by 48 inch paiting of him, Hopefully it will be finished in time for my solo show this march.

Your work reminds me of Prud'hon with less blending - which gives it more clarity. Thanks for posting such inspiring stuff for amateur artists like me!
Cheers, I studied some of his work in person at the Met's drawing room, I don't think that I deserve to have my work mentioned in the same sentence as that guy, since he was off the hook, and I'm just futzin around right now, but thanks for the compliment.
David, What paper do you use? do you tone it yourself?
