Bowery Mission Benefit Drawing Auction at the Salmagundi Club, NYC

Here are some images from a free drawing demonstration that I did at The Salmagundi Club in NYC in conjunction with the Hard Times Exhibition., I thought that i would auction off the drawing as I did it, and donate the proceeds to the Bowery Mission so that those who are having some real hard times could benefit a little from the exhibition. We started the bidding at only 5 bucks and were able to raise 1600 bucks for the Mission. I had a great time and I hope to do more of these in the near future everyone wins, the students get a free demo, the art actually helps someone in need in it's sale, and I get a free model for 3 hours.

What a great way way to raise money for charity. Wonderful work.

Any chance that you'll be putting out a painting DVD anytime soon. I loved the drawing DVD, you're a great teacher.

Thanks David,
The Bowery Mission does great things for folks who are down and out. Your demo was a perfect segue from the "Hard Times" show.
A great cause and a great drawing !!
Tim

Stunning rendition! Do you use pastel pencils, conte, or what? An artist with a social conscience! Great!
Will you be having any workshops in North Carolina in 2011?
Regards,
Yvonne
